Return and Exchange Policy


Our promise to you

Every saree at Bahaare is handwoven by skilled artisans across India. We work directly with weavers and your payment goes straight toward supporting their craft and livelihood. We take the quality of what we send you seriously, and we will always make it right if something goes wrong on our end. If you have any questions before ordering, please reach out on WhatsApp. We're happy to help you choose with confidence.

Returns and exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges only in the following cases:

  • Product arrived damaged or defective
  • Wrong item was delivered

To initiate return, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, at bahaare44@gmail.com or Whatsapp at +91 8240646225 with the following:

  • Unpacking video (mandatory)
  • Order ID, name, delivery address, date of receipt, and description of issue
  • Product must be returned in original condition, i.e., unused, unwashed, undamaged, and with blouse piece uncut. 

If the product doesn’t meet these conditions, we won’t be able to accept the return. In case of a return, we'll arrange pickup within 2–3 business days and process within 7–10 business days of receiving the item. All costs are borne by us.

 

A few things to note

  • About handloom - Our sarees are photographed under natural light with minimal editing. Because handloom fabrics are woven by hand, slight variations in colour, texture, or tassel finish are a natural part of the craft and not a defect. No two pieces are exactly alike, and we believe that is what makes them special. Colour may appear slightly different across screens and lighting conditions.

  • Sarees with Fall and Pico are not eligible for return or exchange

  • If your package arrives visibly damaged, please do not accept the delivery. In case of delivery failure due to courier issues, we will re-ship at no extra cost to you.

  • If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or unreachable phone number provided at the time of ordering, re-shipping charges will be borne by the customer

  • COD booking fee - the ₹250 partially paid at the time of ordering is non-refundable

  • Returns and exchanges are not available for international shipments. All international orders are thoroughly quality-checked before dispatch

Cancellations

Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. Our sarees are often allocated to weavers immediately after purchase, and cancellations directly affect their livelihood. Please review your order carefully before confirming.
